Recreating History

Last week, Laura from Tide and Thyme worked her magic with an old recipe for Beer-Battered Handy Soft Shells! This recipe comes straight from the Handy crab house workers in the 80's and was featured in Chesapeake Bay Cooking by John Shields. Laura turned the classic recipe into a simple sandwich, complete with a dollop of tartar sauce, and her picture speaks for itself. It looks delicious!

If you aren't following Tide and Thyme, you are missing out on an authentic Eastern Shore culinary experience. Take a look at her website for more mouthwatering recipes!
